World Bank Open Data
The World Bank Open Data site is a freely available portal to access all public statistical and demographic data served by the World Bank. The site, built by Development Seed, offers maps and data that can be browsed in hundreds of categories, and even provides multiple APIs for developer use. The maps are displayed with OpenLayers, rendered from Tilemill and Mapnik sources, and are based on PostGIS data.
