Alpen Adria Universität Klagenfurt Campus GIS
The Alpen Adria Universität Klagenfurt (University of Klagenfurt, Austria) Campus GIS application provides indoor routing services for students, guests and staff. Users enter a start/end room and the application calculates a route through the campus, including through different floors of buildings, and with optional wheelchair accessibility. Built by a professor at the university (via the consulting firm GOMOGI), it was designed to combat the problem of new students being late to class due to becoming lost on campus. This application uses PostGIS, GeoServer, GeoWebCache, OpenLayers, and GeoExt, and uses PGrouting for the routing algorithm.
