Geoplatform Gulf Response
Responding to the unprecedented need for timely information about the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, the University of New Hampshire Coastal Response Research Center, in partnership with NOAA, created GeoPlatform and this Gulf Response application. This site, built with OpenLayers, MapServer, and PostGIS, is a tool designed to assist emergency responders and environmental resource managers with their work responding to the oil spill. Information on the site is updated daily.
